About St Germans Primary School

Located in the very heart of the St Germans community, our school is set in beautiful surroundings with stunning views across the river. We are centrally located with excellent links to Saltash, Plymouth, and the surrounding areas, serving as a nursery, infant, and junior school that supports children of all ages.

In September 2024 our school became the 14th School to join the amazing St Barnabas Multi Academy Trust. We are eagerly anticipating our first Ofsted inspection as a wonderful opportunity to showcase the exceptional learning environment we have built. We look forward to celebrating the incredible strides our children have made as they blossom into confident, lifelong learners.

Our school has three classes; Cynets & Swans (EYFS and Key Stage 1), Avocets (Year 3&4) and Kingfishers (Year 5&6).

By working in collaboration with all the other schools in the Trust our children have all the opportunities they would if they went to a large school but with the benefits that a small family school has to offer.

St Barnabas Multi Academy Trust comprises of fourteen schools that work together in three geographical hubs across Cornwall. 

School leaders, teachers and support staff work collaboratively in teams within their hubs and across the Trust to ‘Bring It! by supporting one another to; 

• keep pupils safe

• develop and plan the curriculum

• improve teaching and learning
