Welcome to Cygnets Nursery

Nestled in the heart of St Germans, our nursery is far more than just a starting point – it’s a nurturing home for our curious Cygnets. As an integral part of our school family, we provide a seamless bridge between early play and a lifelong love of learning, all set against the beautiful backdrop of the Cornish countryside.

We believe that childhood should be a grand expedition. Our ethos is rooted in adventure, with encouragement to “keep exploring.” With a fluid indoor-outdoor environment, our children have the freedom to test their limits, get their hands dirty and solve problems in real-time. Whether they are navigating our outdoor spaces or mastering a new skill inside, we ensure every child is given the tools to be bold, curious, and resilient.

Our ‘Bring It!’ vision requires us to ensure our pupils are excited by and fully engaged in their learning and school experience more widely. We support them to use their talents to create positive school memories with their friends that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.

As a nursery, infant and junior school we support children of all ages and we believe every single one of our children is valued and loved.

Safeguarding pupils is our first priority. All our employees and volunteers are vetted and trained to ensure our children are kept safe. Adults and pupils are vigilant and know how to report and record any concerns they may have to senior leaders responsible for safeguarding.
