At St Martin’s C of E Primary in Liskeard, we believe school should be an adventure. We strive to make learning fun and memorable for every child in our 10 classes and Nursery. Our pupils don’t just sit in classrooms; they climb mountains, explore beaches, and build resilience through our dedicated “Learning to Learn” camps.

We are proud of our inclusive, family-oriented atmosphere. Rooted in Christian values, we welcome children of all backgrounds and prioritise their emotional health through our strong pastoral team. Our youngest learners get an incredible start in our indoor and outdoor nurseries, learning confidence through nature and exploration. With amazing outdoor facilities—including bike tracks and climbing frames—we ensure your child stays active, happy, and ready for the future.

As a Church of England School, we support its vision for education which is deeply Christian, with Jesus’ promise of ‘life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10) at its heart.

Safeguarding pupils is our first priority. All our employees and volunteers are vetted and trained to ensure our children are kept safe. Adults and pupils are vigilant and know how to report and record any concerns they may have to senior leaders responsible for safeguarding.
