At St Martin’s C of E Primary in Liskeard, we believe school should be an adventure! With 10 classes and a wonderful Nursery, we have created a supportive, fun, and inclusive environment for every child. Our curriculum goes far beyond the classroom, offering memorable experiences like “weaseling” on Dartmoor, bear hunts in the woods, and mountain biking. We also help our older students build independence through our special start-of-year camps.

We care deeply about your child’s happiness. Our dedicated pastoral team works hard to ensure every pupil feels safe, supported, and emotionally resilient. While we are proud of our Christian heritage and church partnership, our doors are open to children of all backgrounds.

Our youngest learners get off to a flying start with our fantastic indoor and outdoor nursery spaces, where they learn responsibility through nature—even learning to cook safely on an open fire! This love for the outdoors continues with our amazing playground facilities, which boast a bike track, go-karts, and a zip wire, ensuring break times are just as active and exciting as lesson times.
