About St Winnow C of E Primary School

St Winnow C of E Primary School is situated in the picturesque town of Lostwithiel. We operate with four vibrant, mixed-age classes designed to create a supportive, family-like environment where all our children can truly thrive:

Our mixed-age class structure promotes a strong sense of community and provides unique opportunities for peer support, reflecting our school-wide family ethos.

We are also fortunate to have fantastic outdoor space for learning and play, including our very own bike track!

By working in collaboration with all the other schools in the Trust our children have all the opportunities they would if they went to a large school but with the benefits that a small family school has to offer.

St Barnabas Multi Academy Trust comprises of fourteen schools that work together in three geographical hubs across Cornwall. 

School leaders, teachers and support staff work collaboratively in teams within their hubs and across the Trust to ‘Bring It! by supporting one another to; 

• keep pupils safe

• develop and plan the curriculum

• improve teaching and learning
